How does Suki Translate work?
Take a photo or pick an image from your library, select your source and target language, and Suki Translate will translate the text directly in the image. The translated image is saved to your library for offline viewing.
What languages are supported?
Suki Translate supports 29+ languages including English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Arabic, Thai, Vietnamese, Hindi, and many more.
Do I need an account?
No. Suki Translate requires no account, no login, and no email. The app uses an anonymous device identifier for authentication. Your translations and settings are stored locally on your device.
How many free translations do I get?
You get 1 free translation to try the app. After that, an Unlimited Weekly subscription gives you unlimited translations.
How do I restore my subscription?
Go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases." This will check your Apple ID for any active subscriptions and restore your access.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings > Manage Subscription, or open your device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Suki Translate. You can cancel anytime — your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Why did my translation fail?
Translations can fail if the image is too blurry, the text is too small, or there is a temporary server issue. Tap "Retry" on the failed translation to try again. If the problem persists, try a clearer or higher-resolution image.
What happens to my images?
Your images are sent to our server for translation processing and are deleted immediately after. We do not store, share, or retain your images. Translated results are saved only on your device.
Can I use the app offline?
You need an internet connection to translate new images. However, all previously translated images are saved locally and can be viewed offline in your library.
Is the translation 100% accurate?
Suki Translate uses AI-powered translation which is highly capable but not perfect. Translations are intended for personal understanding and should not be relied upon for legal, medical, or other critical purposes.
How do I delete my data?
All your data is stored on your device. To delete everything, you can delete individual items from the Library, use "Clear All" to remove all translations, or uninstall the app. No data is retained on our servers.
